RO: Ne topim de cald. Chiar dacă stăm toată ziua cu geamurile deschise, chiar dacă ne îmbrăcăm foarte subțire, chiar dacă stăm cu aerul condiționat pornit… tot ne topim 🙂 Și ați observat că fără să depunem prea mult efort, bem peste 2-3 litri de apă pe zi? Că nu se poate altfel.

Se pare că e cea mai călduroasă vară în acest an, iar eu nu pot decât să mă bucur. Fiind născută vara, mereu mi-a plăcut soarele, am iubit căldura și niciodată nu am fost prea bucuroasă de venirea iernii… Deci mă topesc de cald, dar îmi place.

Totuși, cu ce ne putem îmbrăca pe căldura asta? Chiar să umbli în shorts și sutiene pe stradă (sau mai ales la birou) nu se poate, iar pantalonii lungi și bluzele cu mânecă lungă, chiar și cele din materiale fluide și vaporoase, sunt imposibil de purtat. Deci ce mai rămâne pe listă? Rochii, salopete, pantaloni scurți sau 3/4, fuste și tricouri din bumbac. Cel puțin, asta am ales eu în ultima perioadă.

În OOTD-ul de azi, am purtat pantalonii scurți cu imprimeu floral de la H&M, un tricou simplu din bumbac și o pereche de sandale joase și comode, în nuanța tricoului. Portocaliul este o culoare atât de plăcută, e intensă, caldă și vibrantă, și mi se pare perfectă pentru sezonul cald. Pantalonii i-am prins la reducere acum câteva săptămâni și îmi plac foarte mult, fiind destul de decenți pentru a-i lua la muncă, și mi se par super ușor de asortat: un tricou basic, sandale, și ești gata de plecare. Fără bătăi de cap, fără aruncat de haine prin toată casa dis de dimineață (been there, done that).

Dacă vrei totuși să dai impresia că te-ai străduit un pic și nu ți-ai aruncat pe tine ce ai găsit prin dulap (chiar dacă asta ai făcut), adaugă un colier statement. Efectul e garantat!

Nu vă mai țin de povești, vă doresc un weekend relaxant și plin de momente faine pe la grătare, la piscină sau unde preferați voi să vă petreceți aceste zile caniculare. Vă pup și vă aștept din nou săptămâna viitoare, cu o postare nouă!

EN: Right now, the weather in Romania is extremely hot. This year’s summer seems to be the hottest in a while, so we’re dealing with huge temperatures and we’re basically melting here.  Even while drinking more than 2-3 liters of water per day, even with the air conditioning on, it still doesn’t get any better.

But the funny part is that I really enjoy it, since I was born in July, I’ve always loved summer and heat. So, while (normal) people are complaining about this weather, I actually love it. Bring it on, sunshine!

However, I must admit that “wtf could I wear” is indeed a problem these days. I cannot wear anything too short or sexy (because work), but long sleeved shirts or long pants are not a choice either. So what’s left? Pretty dresses, jumpsuits, shorts or 3/4 pants, cotton t-shirts. At least, these were my choices lately.

In today’s summer casual OOTD, I wear a pair of floral printed short pants from H&M, a simple basic t-shirt and some comfy sandals, that match the t-shirt color. I am a big fan of orange and I think it’s perfect for the hot season: it’s warm, intense and vibrant.

Let’s talk about the pants. I got them on discount a few weeks ago and I love them. Their lenght gets right above the knee, so that makes it a good fit for work as well. Also, they are so easy to wear, you can just combine them with a basic top and a pair of shoes and that’s it, you’re ready to go. No more trouble, no more crying in the morning for not having anything to wear (been there, done that).

If you are a fashion addict, you’ll probably need that hint of glamour, which makes people think you didn’t just throw some clothes on you (even if you did). My tip: add a statement necklace. It always works 🙂
